HECTOR BELLERIN insists he ‘would not pick up the phone’ if former club Barcelona came calling.

The Arsenal star has become a key man for Arsene Wenger after breaking into the first team last season.

Bellerin, who joined Arsenal’s academy in 2011 from Barcelona, quickly displaced new arrival Mathieu Debuchy and is now considered to be one of the Premier League’s finest full-backs.

But the 21-year-old has been strongly linked with a return to the Nou Camp, with Luis Enrique yet to replace Dani Alves after the veteran departed for Juventus in June.

Manchester City are also reportedly keen as Pablo Zabaleta and Bacary Sagna come to the end of their Etihad contracts.

But Bellerin has seemingly committed his future to Arsenal by claiming he would not give Barca the time of the day should they make contact over a potential transfer.

He told : “[If Barcelona call?] I wouldn’t pick up the phone!”

Bellerin also gave some insight into Arsenal’s changing room by naming Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain as the best dresser – although he reckons he’s quicker than Theo Walcott.

The defender added: “[Chamberlain] gets his style tips from me! On the speed test it said I was quicker [than Walcott] but we’ve never really raced against each other. Maybe one day…”
