Jurgen Klopp has said that some of his Liverpool players are nursing knocks and didn't train on Sunday.
The likes of Marko Grujic, Daniel Sturridge and Ragnar Klavan are expected to come into contention to start while Klopp has confirmed Simon Mignolet starts in goal.
Spurs will be without defender Toby Alderweireld (knee) while Harry Kane is not yet expected to be fit to return from his ankle injury.
Moussa Sissoko will not feature after Spurs accepted his violent conduct charge for elbowing Harry Arter in Saturday's 0-0 draw with Bournemouth.
