Jose Mourinho reveals Manchester United defender Eric Bailly has ‘bad’ knee ligament injury after Chelsea defeat
Bailly could be out for months after suffering injury against Chelsea which Jose Mourinho has described as 'really bad'
JOSE MOURINHO piles more misery on Manchester United fans after revealing Eric Bailly could be out of action with a long-term knee injury.
The 22-year-old picked up a knock during United's shocking 4-0 defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Bailly was replaced by and Marcos Rojo after 52 minutes due to the injury and Mourinho has said in his post-match press conference it is a serious matter.
Mourinho said: "He is injured, I am afraid he is badly injured.
"In his knee, in the ligament area, he feels that it is really bad."

Unlike all the United players who finished the game unharmed and left in their club suit. Bailly exited Jose Mourinho's former stomping ground in a more comfortable club tracksuit.
Marouane Fellaini was also crocked after a nasty challenge from David Luiz but, although he was limping after the game, he was able to slip back into his suit for the long trip back to Manchester.
Bailly will be a huge loss to United after a woeful defensive display. Chris Smalling was culpable - to an extent - for all four goals. And £30m left-back Luke Shaw couldn't even get named among the subs.
