GOALKEEPER: David De Gea

A TOUGH toss-up between the Spanish stopper and Belgian blocker Thibaut Courtois was narrowly won by De Gea.

The United man has been arguably Man United's best player for years now and his heroic performance against Liverpool cements his spot in the combined XI.

RIGHT-BACK: Cesar Azpilicueta

WHILE deployed on the left, in the centre or on the right under Conte, it is fair to say 'Dave' is a natural right-back.

He easily gets the nod over winger-turned-defender Antonio Valencia in the starting line-up.

CENTRE-BACKS: Chris Smalling & Eric Bailly

BOTH spots are heading to United as Smalling and Bailly have looked solid together this season, forming an instant partnership.

With John Terry injured and David Luiz, along with Gary Cahill, looking suspect at times in defence, it's a no-brainer to keep the Red Devils duo together.

LEFT-BACK: Daley Blind

WHILE perhaps not a natural left-back, Blind has played well in that role when called upon this year.

With Marcos Alonso still having much to prove, Luke Shaw battling injuries and Azpilicueta on the right of our defence, it's the Dutchman who gets the nod.

CENTRAL MIDFIELD: Paul Pogba & Nemanja Matic

THE jury is out on Pogba and had it not been for his Europa League brace, he probably wouldn't get the nod here.

The £109million-man is carving something of a niche role in United's midfield - and that marauding style combined with the defensive, yet playmaking, style of Matic means they would form a strong partnership in the heart of the midfield.

ATTACKING MIDFIELD: Willian, Juan Mata & Eden Hazard

JUAN MATA is the first name to mention in the attacking midfield; having represented both teams, he has surprisingly gone on to be a key cog under Mourinho.

The United man linking up with Willian on his right and Hazard on his left would provide assists - and goals - in spadefuls.

STRIKER: Diego Costa

A REALLY tough decision in separating Costa and United's Swede star Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but it's the Spaniard who gets the nod.

The Chelsea man has been in great form this season, leading the league with seven goals scored, while Ibra's form has tailed off somewhat.

Zlatan netted four Premier League goals in his first four games, but has failed to score in the top flight since.

MANAGER: Jose Mourinho

AFTER all, how could we not choose the Special One for this clash...
