MANCHESTER CITY goalkeeper Claudio Bravo was sent off in as Barcelona ran riot at the Nou Camp in tonight's Champions League clash.

The Chilean stopper, signed by City boss Pep Guardiola because he can play with his feet - seemingly unlike his predecessor Joe Hart - made another high profile blunder when he handled Luis Suarez's effort miles outside his box with the score at 1-0.

It came after a terrible clearance from Bravo which gifted it straight to Suarez - before his reactions took his hands directly in the path of the ball.

That, or he does not know the rules of football.

And somewhere in Turin, where he is stuck on loan at Seria A side Torino, England number one Joe Hart, banished by Guardiola, will surely afford himself a wry smile watching an error he would almost certainly not have made.

Bravo has not inspired confidence whatsoever since his arrival from Barcelona, the very side he got sent off against tonight - making a serious blunder on his debut in the Manchester derby.

And replacement Willy Caballero did not disgrace himself when he came on, letting in three goals from Lionel Messi that he could do little about, before saving Neymar's penalty in the dying embers.
