Bundesliga strugglers target the Portuguese manager who is said to be learning German following his two years in Russia

FORMER Chelsea and Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas is a top contender to take over struggling Wolfsburg.
The ex-Porto chief, 39, has reportedly been learning German after leaving Zenit St Petersburg in the summer.
Now the say Wolfsburg are eying AVB, just a day after sacking Dieter Hecking,
Last season's Champions League quarter-finalists are 14th in the Bundesliga after one win and six points from their first seven games.
And Villas-Boas is thought to be keen on a return to management after declining to extend his Zenit contract, despite winning the Russian league and cup in his two seasons there.
AVB lasted just eight months following his move to the Premier League with Chelsea in June 2012.
And his poor reputation at Stamford Bridge slipped further when Roberto Di Matteo revived the Blues as caretaker boss, winning both the FA Cup and Champions League that same season.
AVB was then at Spurs for one and a half seasons, exiting by mutual consent when they were seventh in December 2013.
Gareth Bale famously departed during the Portuguese manager's reign.
And, although Christian Eriksen was an instant success, other new arrivals like Eitenne Capoue, Paulinho and Roberto Soldado mostly flopped.
Erik Lamela, now settled under current boss Mauricio Pochettino, was just an expensive under-achiever with AVB as boss.
Villas-Boas, though, rebuilt his career with Zenit and now seems refreshed after returning to Portugal with his wife and two children.
