To his credit he took no notice of the fans nor Mourinho’s wagging finger.

Picked up on free-kicks and gave them correctly. Communication was good.

Booked Eric Bailly but failed to caution James Milner for similar tackle. Inconsistent.

He had a good game and was not in the spotlight. Did well in a  turgid clash.
