"We want him to stay with us. Unlike the players who left us in recent times, Aubameyang has a long-term contract till 2020.

"There’s no pressure. I don’t have the impression he wants to move.”

But Aubameyang, 27, has admitted his childhood dream is to move to the “club of his heart, Real Madrid”.

Dortmund rated him at £70million when Madrid, United and Arsenal inquired after he netted 25 Bundesliga goals last season. This term he has six in as many starts.

Last time out Aubameyang missed a penalty before scoring an 80th-minute equaliser as injury-hit Dortmund drew 1-1 home draw against Hertha Berlin.
