GOALKEEPER: Peter Schmeichel
THIS was not even close... Of our ten more-than-worthy nominees, Danish stopper Schmeichel romped home with a whopping 55 per cent of the vote.
The former Man United man was streets ahead of Petr Cech in second on 18 per cent, with David Seaman and Edwin van der Sar in joint-third on just eight per cent.
RIGHT-BACK: Gary Neville
THIS was even less of a contest, as former Man United full-back Neville clinched a stunning 63 per cent of your votes.
Ex-Arsenal ace Lauren earned nine per cent of the voting, while Lee Dixon and Branislav Ivanovic both bagged eight per cent.
CENTRE-BACKS: John Terry & Rio Ferdinand
A MUCH, much more closely run affair, it was JT and Ferdinand who snuck to the top of the charts.
Terry earned more votes than anyone else on 22 per cent of the vote, while Rio bagged 21 per cent.
Tony Adams racked up a respectable 18 per cent, with Nemanja Vidic in fourth on 13 per cent.
LEFT-BACK: Ashley Cole
THERE were three candidates very much in the running right until the end, but it was Cole who came out on top.
The former Chelsea and Arsenal full-back clinched 41 per cent of the vote, ahead of Patrice Evra on 26 per cent and Denis Irwin on 22 per cent.
RIGHT-MIDFIELD: Cristiano Ronaldo
A TWO-HORSE race from start to end, it was a straight fight between Man United duo Ronaldo and David Beckham.
But it was the Portuguese ace who came out on top with 44 per cent of the vote to Becks' 36 per cent.
CENTRAL MIDFIELDERS: Patrick Vieira & Paul Scholes
FIVE stars cracked double figures in terms of percentage of the vote, but of course only two can win - with that honour going to Vieira and Scholes who earned 18 per cent and 30 per cent respectively.
England 'couldn't play together' duo Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard came in third and fourth on 13 and 11 per cent.
LEFT-MIDFIELD: Ryan Giggs
OUR biggest winner on the list - and arguably it was shoe-in - as Giggs romped home with an incredible 67 per cent of the vote for the left side of midfield.
Former Tottenham man Gareth Bale came in second with eight per cent, tied with Arsenal's Robert Pires.
STRIKERS: Thierry Henry & Didier Drogba
AS if it wasn't hard enough for us to whittle it down to the top 20 candidates, it was even tougher to find the top two.
That honour goes to Henry and Drogba who scored 34 per cent and 14 per cent respectively, ahead of Eric Cantona and Alan Shearer on 13 per cent and 12 per cent.
So there you have it, SunSport's Premier League all-time XI, voted for by the readers...
...And what an incredibly talented team it is, too.
