THE FA will today probe Jose Mourinho’s controversial claims about ref Anthony Taylor.
And SunSport can reveal Mourinho could have had a one-match suspended stadium ban activated had he made them just 24 hours earlier.
The Manchester United boss said whistler Taylor would find it impossible to do a good job in tonight’s showdown with Liverpool after being slated by Kop fans.

They are angry that Taylor is in charge of the Anfield clash, despite living in Altrincham — just six miles from Old Trafford.
FA rules state managers and players are not allowed to speak about referees before games in a way that could influence their performance.
Until Thursday, Mourinho was still under the threat of a one-match stadium ban relating to an outburst made about refs when he was Chelsea boss. But he made his latest remarks about Taylor on Friday in his briefing to Sunday newspapers.
Mourinho said: “I think somebody is intentionally putting pressure on him. It will be difficult for him to have a very good performance.”
The FA’s governance team will study those comments today. If they feel he has a case to answer then he will face another fine.
