ANTONIO BARRAGAN inexplicably managed to avoid being sent off during the first half of Middlesbrough's clash with Watford.

The Spanish full-back, 29, had already been booked for bringing down Isaac Success down the left wing.

Yet, incredibly, just ten minutes later Barragan brought down Success in the exact same manner as before... And walked away free of punishment.

The second offence was arguably worse than the first, yet for some reason, referee Roger East thought a stern talking to was enough for Barragan.

The move set Twitter alight, particularly West Ham fans livid at the decision after Aaron Cresswell's soft dismissal against Crystal Palace on Saturday night, as well as Arsenal's frustration regarding Granit Xhaka's red.
