Antoine Griezmann to Manchester United: Old Trafford chiefs hold more talks with Atletico Madrid over sensational swoop
MANCHESTER UNITED are ready to spend big again with a swoop for Atletico Madrid's star forward Antoine Griezmann, according to reports.
The Frenchman is big pals with Paul Pogba - and is being seen by Jose Mourinho as a replacement for struggling star Wayne Rooney.
Griezmann, 25, has been linked with a move away from the Vicente Calderon for over a year now.

And, according to the , after reaching a Champions League final and scoring 50 goals for the Diego Simeone's side - he could walk away from the club.
Atletico Madrid are in a conundrum of their own, with Simeone mooted to be in line for a big job in the Premier League - taking English language lessons.
But Griezmann has been wooed by talk of English football by his close friend Pogba, who moved to Old Trafford for a world record £89million in the summer.
And with around £80m reportedly the asking price for the former Real Sociedad ace, he could be ready to end his Spanish romance.

United are already banking on the fact that Griezmann's friendship with Pogba will be enough to lure him to the red half of Manchester, ahead of the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal.
They are also desperate for a mobile centre forward to back up Zlatan Ibrahimovic in attack, with Rooney's legs looking like they have lost a yard of pace.
Paris Saint-Germain were reportedly suitors for Griezmann in the summer, as he got close to firing France to a sensational Euro 2016 victory before they lost to Portugal in the final.
Griezmann also ditched his agent in the summer, saying: "I will now work without an agent but I will always look to my father Eric Olhats, my mentor, for advice."
