GERARD PIQUE reckons John Stones is taking the same path as he did under Pep Guardiola.
Pique had a glittering spell under Guardiola when he returned to Barcelona and played for the current Manchester City boss.

Now he faces his old boss and the latest player Guardiola is turning into a footballing centre-back who starts attacks from the back.

Pique said: “I like the way he plays, his style is a bit like mine and it is difficult to play that way because in England the style of play is different.
“But Pep will help him a lot in terms of taking those controlled risks with the ball.”
