Manchester United and England captain Wayne Rooney parks £120,000 car on double yellow as he gets phone repaired
Red Devils skipper must have had other things on his mind as he looks to make Jose Mourinho's starting XI for Liverpool
HE received a rough ride from England fans during the recent international break.
But that didn’t stop Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney from parking on a double yellow as he stopped off at a phone repair shop earlier on Thursday.
The striker has been dropped from the starting XI for both club and country, and received a chorus of boos from supporters ahead of England’s 2-0 win over Malta last weekend.

Rooney is now hoping he can force his way into Jose Mourinho’s plans for Monday’s crunch clash against fierce rivals Liverpool.
And the 30-year-old evidently wanted to make sure his phone was in working order just in case he received a sudden call from the Special One.
Donning a £700 Dolce & Gabbana waterproof jacket, Rooney left his £120,000 Overfinch Range Rover on the double yellow as he entered the repair shop in Wilmslow town centre.

But Rooney can be forgiven for his slight misdemeanour after announcing he was helping the NSPCC launch a new campaign.
Posing for a snap with his three kids, Rooney wrote on : “Delighted to help @nspcc_official launch their #LittleStars campaign in aid of abused and neglected children.
