THERE'S saying when a footballer bags a few goals — he is said to have "found his scoring boots".
But is there actually such a thing?

Stats website has been keeping a record of which boot each star from the Premier League is wearing.
And it turns out that Nike are the providers of the most goals from their boots so far this season.

Footwear made by the American sports manufacturers account for 109 strikes — which is 58 per cent of the total number of goals in the Premier League this campaign.
Adidas are next on the list, but way behind on 62 goals. That makes up 33 per cent.
While, Puma boot-wearing stars have so far only celebrated 11 goals.
The Nike Mercurial Vapor XI is the top-scoring boot model with 27.
