Sergio Aguero reveals the one team Pep Guardiola ‘would love’ to manage when he leaves Manchester City
The striker revealed his current manager would like to fulfil the role he was considered for back in 2011
SERGIO AGUERO revealed Pep Guardiola 'would love' to manage Argentina.
Guardiola was in the running to take the job after Diego Maradona and Sergio Batista resigned back in 2011.
Alejandro Sabella got the job and Guardiola is currently enjoying managing Aguero at Manchester City but the striker says he still wants to coach Argentina one day.
Aguero said: "Guardiola said to me that though they haven't called him, he would love to coach the Argentina team."
Guardiola took over from Manuel Pellegrini as the City boss in the summer after three successful years at Bayern Munich.
And he has made an instant impact as the Spaniard has led his team to the summit of the Premier League.
That included getting one over old rival Jose Mourinho as City beat Manchester United 2-1 at Old Trafford.
And Zenit St Petersburg coach Mircea Lucescu has claimed Guardiola is more arrogant than Mourinho.
