LEICESTER are have joined Lazio and Lyon in the battle to sign highly-rated Brazilian forward Cafu.
The attacker has started to attract the interest of a number of top clubs after impressing for Bulgarian side Ludogorets in the Champions League.
Cafu scored in the club's 1-1 draw with Basel in Europe this season and has scored 11 goals in 30 games since arriving from South America last year.
Lazio failed with a bid to sign the 25-year-old last summer, but the Serie A club are maintaining their interest and are keen to return with an improved offer in January.
But Italian site La Lazio Siamo Noi claim Cafu's agent has revealed Premier League champions Leicester and French side Lyon are also in the hunt.
Leicester are not short of options up front with Islam Slimani arriving from Sporting Lisbon in the summer to provide support to Jamie Vardy.

But they may be willing to bolster their attacking options, especially with the King Power Stadium future of Leonaro Ulloa open to question.
The Foxes are understood to be willing to listen to offers for the Argentine striker, who was linked with a move to Swansea over the summer.
