Hull City’s Abel Hernandez offered new £55,000-a-week deal to become club’s top earner
West Brom, Napoli and Fiorentina are all following the £10million Uruguay hitman, whose contract is up next summer
ABEL HERNANDEZ has been offered a bumper new deal that will make him Hull’s top earner on £55,000-a-week.
West Brom, Napoli and Fiorentina are all following the £10million Uruguay hitman, whose contract is up next summer.
And KCOM Stadium chiefs want to get him tied up on a long-term contract before the January transfer window.
Hernandez, 26, who hit 23 goals last season to fire Hull straight back to the Premier League, became unsettled after boss Steve Bruce quit three months ago.
But Tigers hope they can persuade him to stay.
Caretaker Mike Phelan insisted: "Abel is at a club where he can express himself in the Premier League — it is a fabulous opportunity for him."
