The 24-year-old has suffered a quadriceps muscle problem which affects his thigh and won’t be back until at least next month.

It has also emerged they cannot send him back to his parent club Besiktas in January after a poor start to the season.

West Ham forked out a £2.5m loan fee for Tore in the summer, which has already been paid.

But if his injury problems and lack of form continue, Slaven Bilic will look to send him back before the January transfer window opens.

The Turkey international has failed to thrill West Ham fans so far since moving to east London

Tore has played five times so far this campaign, but has made no impact with West Ham currently in shocking form.

Bilic’s side have won just once so far this season in the Premier League and lie in the relegation zone.

West Ham have a number of injury concerns at the moment, with at least SEVEN first team stars crocked.

But strikers Andy Carroll and Diafra Sakho along with Aaron Creswell should be back within the next few weeks.

And £20m Ghana star Andre Ayew could return towards the end of the month after requiring thigh surgery.
