TOTTENHAM are monitoring young Lyon defender Emanuel Mammana.
The 20-year-old only moved to Europe this summer but has made an impressive start to life in France.
He joined the Ligue 1 club from River Plate and has immediately caught the attention of fellow Argentine and Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino.
Mammana penned a three-year deal when signing for Lyon, but has a buy-out clause of £9million written into his contract.
The Premier League side are not the only admirers of the centre-back.

A number of clubs in Spain and Italy also have scouts keeping tabs on the rising star.
Mammana is already a full international but has not figured for his country for over two years.
His only senior cap to date came when he replaced Javier Mascherano late on in a 2-0 win over Slovenia in June 2014.
He has figured for Argentina’s Under-20 side since then, winning ten caps to add to the 16 he won earlier in his career at U17 level.
