I’m a barber who cuts Rangers and Celtic players’ hair – one day an Old Firm star gave me a tip which left me speechless

A YOUNG barber who cuts the hair of Rangers and Celtic stars has revealed just how generous Scotland's top footballers can be.

Exaucè Imbo, who grew up in Ibrox, started training at the age of 14 and only five years later opened his own studio in Glasgow's Kinning Park when he was still a teenager.

The entrepreneur, now 21, grew up with former Celtic starlet Karamoko Demeble who helped his old pal to build his reputation amongst the Old Firm's biggest names.

Before long, Rangers aces like Jermain Defoe, Calvin Bassey, Joe Aribo, Glen Kamara and Leon Balogun had him on speed dial.

While his EXSTUDIO was also a favourite of Hoops' heroes Moussa Dembélé, Odsonne Édouard, Olivier Ntcham and Christopher Jullien.

Exaucè, who is a Rangers fan and goes by Ex the Barber, treats all his clients the same and doesn't charge any differently when someone is a wealthy footballer.

However, due to their unpredictable schedules he often had to keep his studio open after hours or make home visits.

This led to him becoming friends with some of the stars who were incredibly generous.

For example, he attended Jermain Defoe's recent wedding and Édouard once gave him a massive £300 tip because he liked his trim so much.

Ex the Barber says: "Karamoko Dembele gave me the chance to cut his hair when I was 17 and then when he went into the changing room people noticed and they asked who cut his hair.

"He recommended me to Moussa Dembélé and then to Édouard and Ntcham so it just starts from one player and it goes back to
the training ground and then word of mouth spreads.

"I think Glen Kamara was from recommendations but Aribo was when I spotted him out one time and I said 'look, I’m a young barber and you seem like the right client where I can do a nice job on your hair,'

"I’ve such a wide range of clientele from kids to granddads to people that have no jobs and folk who are millionaires.

"I wanted my studio to be available to everyone."

Ex the Barber adds: "People always if I charge footballers extra but I just charge everyone the same price.

"Just because they have a certain status doesn’t mean you can charge them more.

"Everyone is different.

"These people are obviously on a much higher wage than the average person so some do tip crazy amounts.

"I received a £300 tip from Édouard once.

"And I was just recently at Jermain Defoe’s wedding so you do build a bond with players.

"I’m a Rangers fan but I’ve never paid for a Rangers ticket in my life."

But there's one man he's desperate to secure as a client - and it's his favourite footballer Alfredo Morelos.

Ex the Barber admits: "Alfredo Morelos, that's the one guy I’m desperately trying to get.
