Morocco had fallen behind just after the hour mark via Yasmin Mrabet's own goal.

But they levelled on 66 minutes through Sanaa Mssoudy's strike.

Nigeria had TWO stars sent off, but managed to drag the game to a penalty shoot-out.

In front of a record 45,000 crowd in Casablanca, Morocco would have the chance to make history.

Ifeoma Onumonu's missed penalty gave the Moroccans the advantage in the shoot-out.

With all other penalties converted, it was left to Ayane to put her country through.

The Tottenham forward calmly slotted the ball home before turning round looking nonplussed.

She then wore a confused expression when she saw pandemonium break out in the stands, before it dawned on her that her side had won.

Ayane, 26, then beamed and jumped for joy as she was mobbed by her team-mates.

After the game, she wrote on Instagram: "No idea it was the winning pen but we move. Good vibes only."

They will now face South Africa in the final, with a first time women's Afcon winner set to be crowned.
