Red Devils chief says Frenchman 'needed' his goal against Stoke
JOSE MOURINHO says he can get Anthony Martial back on track following a dip in form for Manchester United.
Last season’s top scorer with 17 goals lost focus and his place in the United team after breaking up with childhood sweetheart Samantha Jacquelinet in April.
They have a one-year-old daughter.
Martial, 20, was subbed in each of his first five starts of the season then left out of the side.
But he scored his first goal of the campaign as a sub against Stoke on Sunday and Man United boss Mourinho has been working hard with the France forward.

Mourinho has told Martial he believes in him but he must knuckle down.
The United boss thinks Martial’s stunning effort in the 1-1 draw at the weekend will help.
He said: “He needs that. It was an amazing goal. So it was good for him.”
Martial cost an initial £36million but that fee could rise to £57.6m.
