Eriksen transfer is a 'miracle'
Christian Eriksen's move to Man United after his health struggles has been branded a miracle.
The declaration was made by ex-United stopper Anders Lindegaard who told the BBC: "It’s a fairytale story.
"No-one would have seen that in a crystal ball and I’m just so happy for Christian that he’s been able to make it back in such a great way. I’m very impressed, but not particularly surprised.’
"Christian has got a special kind of mentality; a mentality that will suit United very much. He’s not in football for the fame, the money, the luxury lifestyle or showing off.
"Christian is in football for the love of the game — in a way that I don’t know anyone else is."
Man United given Dutch warning
Man United's growing Dutch contingent have been warned that they could be made scapegoats if Man United fail to perform next season.
United have brought in Dutch youngster Tyrell Malacia, and are aggressively chasing his compatriots Frenkie de Jong, and Jurrien Timber.
However, Netherlands legend Ronald de Boer reckons the move could backfire if the Red Devils suffer a form slump.
He said, via Sports Witness: "The common football language is an advantage. And as a player you have an advantage if the trainer knows you. Especially in England, where they can throw money and new trainers have yet to discover you
“Despite that, I think that trainers should be careful with it. It can get tricky, because a lot of guys of the same nationality meet up in the dressing room.
"Then you will form groups faster. And if the results diminish, the Dutch are immediately pointed to as the ones who are to blame for the decline."
De Jong wages revealed
Frenkie de Jong is closing in on a move to Manchester United and his staggering wages have been reported.
Barcelona, who are in financial trouble, may need to offload him as he has earned £94million during his time at the club, according to .
That works out at an incredible £450k-a-week, when De Jong meets all his bonuses.
If they matched his Barcelona wages it would take the cost of signing De Jong to £150million if he signed a four-year contract.
The 25-year-old midfielder is not the only player Man Utd are expected to bring in this summer on a large salary.

Dybala and Ronaldo link-up
However, United would be better of keeping hold of Ronaldo and adding Dybala to their attack, Ambrose reckons.
