Hull legend Dean Windass on brink of bankruptcy with debts mounting to over £150,000

Former striker had a court hearing today where tax officials revealed the extent of the money owed

HULL CITY hero Dean Windass is on the brink of bankruptcy after owing debts of around £150,000.

The retired striker was represented by a barrister at a court hearing on Monday where tax officials revealed the extent of Windass' growing debts.

He will have another hearing at a Bankruptcy Court in December.

The 47-year-old, who kick-started his career with Hull at the late age of 22, went onto rack up over 700 appearances throughout his career mustering over 200 goals.
