According to , Ronaldo is at risk of becoming a "guest" to Ten Hag's plans.

Ten Hag's style of play may see Ronaldo struggle to fit in.

The Dutchman's teams are built to press and control possession as a collective unit.

The report goes on to state that Ronaldo's uncertainty at United interests Mourinho's Roma, who are "dreaming" of pulling off such a huge deal.

It would see Ronaldo reunite with Mourinho, who he played under at Real Madrid.

However, the pair did not separate on the best of terms following the manager’s 2013 exit from the Spanish side.

Roma’s FFP issues could also prove a stumbling block in securing a deal.

Playing in Italy isn't new territory for the 37-year-old.

Ronaldo played for Juventus between 2018 and 2021.

He won Serie A on two occasions and also helped the Old Lady secure the Coppa Italia before moving back to United in a fairytale transfer.

Roma's potential struggle to fit Ronaldo's £23million salary within FFP rules could open the door for a return to Sporting Lisbon, where he started his career.

Unlike Roma and United, who will both be playing Europa League football next term, Sporting can offer Ronaldo Champions League game time.

Meanwhile in Majorca, Ronaldo is in "vacation mode" with his family.

They are staying in a luxury villa, secluded from prying eyes, that sits at the foot of the Tramuntana mountains.

Of course, they arrived by style - using his £20million G200 private jet to fly there.

And they're also spending time aboard Ronaldo's lavish 88-feet long Azimut Grande, which he showed off on .

Ronaldo splashed £5.5m on the yacht in 2020, which is harboured in Port Adriano.
