GEORGINIO WIJNALDUM has been named Ligue 1 'Flop of the year' - 12 months after his glamour move from Liverpool to PSG.
The Holland midfielder went from Kop mainstay to bit-part player with Mauricio Pochettino's runaway French champions.
And 'by a wide margin' the 31-year-old voting on Ligue 1's biggest failure.
The ex-Newcastle hero never played a full match for PSG in more than two months at the end of the season.
That led to former Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal axing him from the Holland squad.
So after admitting he 'wasn't completely happy' early in his PSG career, Wijnaldum is now worrying about his World Cup place this winter.

The ex-PSV Eindhoven and Feyenoord star played in 22 of PSG's 38 Ligue One games after they beat Barcelona to his free transfer signing.
But he never fully recovered from Pochettino preferring to pair Idrissa Gueye with Marco Verratti at the start of the campaign.
Now, though, Pochettino is tipped to depart, despite regaining the title by 15 points from Lille.
It's claimed the former Tottenham manager has 'agreed a severance package'.

As for Wijnaldum, his future in the French capital also seems in doubt - despite having two years left on his contract.
