USA boss Jurgen Klinsmann rules himself out of vacant England manager job

GERMAN had been linked to replace Sam Allardyce as Three Lions manager but says there is 'no truth' to the rumours

JURGEN KLINSMANN has ruled himself out of the vacant England manager job.

The USA boss had been linked with the position as Three Lions gaffer after Sam Allardyce resigned from his post on Tuesday.

However the German has quashed any rumours that he could be replacing stand-in boss Gareth Southgate as manager by saying there was "no truth" to the rumours.

Taking to Twitter, Klinsmann wrote: "No truth to rumours regarding England.

"Our entire focus is on November 11 when Columbus will rock."

English football was rocked with the news that Allardyce was caught up in a elaborate newspaper sting.

The former Sunderland manager lasted just a total of 67 days at the helm of the national squad.

And now the FA are left with the task of finding a long-term replacement with Alan Pardew, Steve Bruce and Eddie Howe just some of the names being touted.
