Aaron Ramsey sends emotional Rangers message as he thanks ‘the most passionate fans’ he’s ever had
AARON RAMSEY last night thanked Rangers fans for supporting him through his Europa League final nightmare.
The Welsh midfielder broke his silence after missing a crucial penalty in the defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt in Seville last week.
Ramsey confirmed his Rangers career is over after the end of his loan from Juventus - but was happy to bow out with Scottish Cup success.
He said: “A nice way to finish the season after the big disappointment on Wednesday.
“To the blue sea of Ibrox, I want to thank you for your overwhelming support through the highs and lows.
“You are some of the most passionate fans I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.

“Thank you to everyone for making me feel so welcome.
“It’s been an incredible few months and I’m proud to be a small part of this club’s rich history.”
Ramsey joined Gers from Juve in a high-profile January deadline-day loan move - but never had the impact he hoped for.
The 31-year-old’s Ibrox career was hampered by injury - before that agonising penalty miss against Eintracht in the Europa League final.
