LEICESTER CITY have snubbed Premier League winning legends Claudio Ranieri, Riyad Mahrez, Captain Wes Morgan and manager Claudio Ranieri to put their owner on the front of their first Champions League programme.

The three players feature on the periphery of the debut issue but the proud Italian boss is nowhere to be seen with duty-free billionaire Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha taking centre-stage.

Foxes favourite and Match of the Day host Gary Lineker was clearly disturbed by the club’s decision to put the money man front and centre ahead of the fans’ favourite gaffer who guided the club to glory.

The 59-year-old Thai magnate bought the club in 2010 and runs the champions with his son Aiyawatt his vice-chairman.

The generous owner celebrated the shock 5000/1 title win by buying 19 of his players a £100,000 BMW i8 car.

But he has hogged the limelight from the former Tinkerman on his first night in Europe’s top competition with the former minnows.

For the visit of Portuguese giants Porto, the squad’s glorious achievements were expected to celebrated on the front cover of the mag.

But the footballers became a footnote with no room left at all for the man who moulded them into the most celebarated Premier League winners ever.
