CRISTIANO RONALDO has been making the most of Manchester United's week off - by hitting the golf course.
The 37-year-old was pictured in a pair of extremely short shorts as he made his way around 18 holes in Cheshire.
Ronaldo, who has never been afraid to show off his physique, looked to be enjoying the weather in the North-West as he teed off at Mottram Hall.
Golf and football have gone hand-in-hand for a long time now, with the likes of John Terry and Ronaldo's former teammate Gareth Bale proving useful with a driver in hand.
The Portuguese star was taking time out during United's week off, as their nightmare season nearly comes to an end.
The Red Devils sit more than 30 points off the top of the tree in England, while early exits in domestic and European cup competitions have added to the misery.

The poor form has coincided with rumours swirling about the superstar's future.
Despite a year remaining on Ronaldo's contract, rumours linking the Portugal man to a move away from the side he originally joined in 2003 have prevailed.
It was speculated that the newest member of the Premier League's hundred club would quit the club, following the side's dire season, despite his brilliance.
However, United fans were offered some relief, as photos were allegedly leaked showing the striker posing in their new kits.
