Ten Hag ‘plans to rebuild Man Utd around four youngsters including Elanga and McTominay’ – but will bring in new stars
ERIK TEN HAG is set to make the most of Manchester United's young stars as he starts his rebuild at Old Trafford.
The 52-year-old believes that alongside new signings, the core of young talent at the club provide a fantastic opportunity for improvement.
According to Ten Hag believes Anthony Elanga, Scott McTominay, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho hold the key to a revival for United.
The belief from the Dutchman may not come as a surprise when looking at his track record at Ajax.
Ten Hag oversaw the development of European stars Frenkie de Jong and Mattijs de Ligt, bringing in over £150million for the Dutch champions from their sales.
The Dutchman, who secured his third Eredivisie title with a 5-0 win over Heerenveen, also believes the squad he is leaving in Holland has set the club up for a prosperous future.
