City will look to make it 11 wins from 11 this season when they come to Parkhead on Wednesday night.

And ahead of the crunch Champions League clash, Guardiola said: “We are still far away from where we want to be.

"If we were close then I could just go back home.

“We are here to get better. You always have to keep going. It never ends in football.

“You can always improve and by that I mean individual performances and collective performances.”

Sergio Aguero grabbed a double in City’s 3-1 win against Swansea on Saturday before Raheem Sterling wrapped things up.

Guardiola, who has Kevin De Bruyne crocked, added: “In the first half we had problems finding Raheem but in the second half we played better.

“He scored a fantastic goal but in the box he can be more decisive.

“Kevin is not going to play the next few games and we need to keep going and win without him.

“Raheem feels that and knows that too.”
