Joe Hart: Torino boss Sinisa Mihajlovic says former Manchester City goalkeeper’s ‘charisma’ is already making his team-mates more confident
England goalkeeper praised for 'enthusiasm, spirit and experience' following 3-1 win over Roma
JOE HART was praised for his 'great charisma' after helping Torino to their first home win over Roma for 26 years.
After an erratic debut against Atalanta, the Manchester City loanee has now conceded just once in three games.
A goal from Andrea Belotti and a double from Iago Falque helped Torino to a 3-1 victory against a Roma side that began the day in 3rd place.
Hart was only beaten when Roma legend Francesco Totti scored his 250th Serie A goal from the penalty spot.
After the victory, the England goalkeeper received high praise from boss Sinisa Mihajlovic.
"We signed Hart for his enthusiasm, spirit and experience," said the former Yugoslavia international.
"He is a great guy and a wonderful professional, an international level goalkeeper with great charisma.
"His presence makes the rest of the team feel more confident."
Mihajlovic did admit to grilling Hart on his motivation to join the unfashionable Serie A club.
"Before I took Hart I spoke to him to try and understand what kind of state of mind he would have here."
