The Aston Villa attacking midfielder has served his suspension and he is back in contention to be selected in Roberto Di Matteo's team for their trip to Barnsley.

Last Sunday evening police were called to a hotel room in Birmingham after guests made complaints of a rowdy party, which Grealish is believed to have attended.

And despite the midfielder not being one of the party goers chucked out of the party, that did not stop the club from suspending and ultimately fining the fan favourite.

Di Matteo said: "We've fined the boy and he was suspended for today.

"It's not the first time but he needs to learn from the past and the only one who can do that is himself. He needs to make the right decisions.

"He's 21 now and needs to understand what kind of career he has ahead of him. As long as he does what he's supposed to do we will treat him like everyone else."

It's been tough for the Villains since they dropped down to the Championship, despite signing Ross McCormack for £12million and Jonathan Kodjia in a deal which could rise to £15million.
