JURGEN KLOPP has been at Liverpool for less than a year and already seen them slip on too many banana skins.
Yet the biggest clanger of all would be to start believing their awesome start will finally end their title drought.
The Reds have already beaten Arsenal, Chelsea and champions Leicester to set the Kop dreaming of a first crown since 1990.
But manager Klopp will not be joining them — not until the finishing line is staring him in the face.
He knows the pitfalls of getting carried away and a run of winnable games — starting with Hull today — could see it happen again.
The Anfield boss insisted: “I am quite optimistic but the biggest mistake you can make in life is to think about the finish before the next step. I am not a person who celebrates before anything is decided.

Of the eight league losses in his 11 months in charge, six have been against the so-called small fry.
So he is not thinking Liverpool have got past their unerring ability to shoot themselves in the foot. The German added: “The question is what is consistency? Is three games consistent?
“It’s the percentage of moments in the games I’m happy with but still we can do better.
“We have had some wonderful moments against big teams. We are in a good way, so let’s take this and still be aware of difficulties on the way —Hull will be difficult.”
Klopp also had a dig at the pundits who reckon Liverpool’s game is entirely based around pressing.
He said: “If you watch our games, how we have scored has been about possession. It’s been about going through a team.”
Klopp will hand No 1 Loris Karius an Anfield debut today.
