Wayne Rooney, Cesc Fabregas, Yaya Toure and Bastian Schweinsteiger all on huge wages but may not make starting XI for their clubs this weekend
Highly-paid superstars will be sat at home twiddling their thumbs or on the bench this weekend

AFTER breaking the billion pound barrier this summer on transfer sales, Premier League clubs are paying wages higher than ever.
And some of these highly-paid superstars aren't even starting games - with four of some of the biggest names in the sport either sitting at home this weekend or set for the bench.
SunSport asks what has gone wrong for these four so far this season.
Wayne Rooney (On the bench) - £260,000-a-week
WILL Jose Mourinho do what many United fans are calling for and drop his skipper?
That three-man midfield of the England man, Paul Pogba and Marouane Fellaini really didn't cover themselves in glory during the 3-1 defeat to Watford.
And with Marcus Rashford and Zlatan Ibrahimovic occupying the forward roles, Rooney can't be shoehorned into this side any longer.
All the indications are that Rooney will be dropped after failing to perform since Mourinho arrived at the club.
His mammoth wages make him the highest-paid player in the Premier League.
Will he recover from this setback or is the beginning of the end for Roo at Old Trafford?
Yaya Toure (On the beach) - £225,000-a-week
WHEN your agent comes out and says your manager called his new club a 's*** team', it's doubtful you'll be seeing the first-team anytime soon.
Toure is one of the finest midfielders ever to grace the Premier League, on his day an unplayable colossus who was crucial in the titles wins of 2012 and 2014.
But the Ivorian - ditched by Pep Guardiola at Barcelona - has found himself out of the side and unable to break back in since the Spaniard arrived.
If he sees out his contract, he'll land a cool £10MILLION by next summer when his current deal expires.
Guardiola wants Toure's agent Dimitri Seluk to apologise - and says the midfielder won't pull on a City shirt until he does.
It looks like this saga will end with Toure leaving the club in January.
Cesc Fabregas (On the bench) - £170,000-a-week
THE SPANIARD says he hasn't a rift with Antonio Conte - but is yet to start a league game this season.
That could all change against Arsenal after he struck a brace against champions Leicester in the EFL Cup, but for a player of Fabregas' calibre warming the bench isn't an option.
Fabregas has had to make do with cameos so far this term after a poor Euro campaign and Conte doesn't seem to be convinced that he is the man to lead Blues forward.
Competition for places is strong at the Bridge - as it should be in a title challenging side - with the arrival of N'Golo Kante offering a steel that was lacking last season.
Should Nemanja Matic make way for Fabregas, he will be desperate to show Conte that he's been wrong all this time.

Bastian Schweinsteiger (On the beach) - £200,000-a-week
WHILST he side were struggling with a run of three straight defeats, the experienced German was perfecting his swing on the golf course.
Bastian may be improving his swing, but Mourinho's swift decision to send him to the reserve team is baffling as the team seems to crying out for his deep-lying calmness.
Schweinsteiger signed off from international duty in an emotional farewell against Finland.
And he still makes the effort to come and watch his United teammates from the stand despite being frozen out.
His days look numbered - despite his £1million-a-month wages - and he's already ruled out a switch to another European side.
