DANIEL STURRIDGE is in contention for Liverpool's match against Hull despite picking up an injury at Chelsea.
Jurgen Klopp confirmed that the England striker returned to training on Wednesday and 'should be available' tomorrow.
However he added that Sturridge must perform in training to earn his place in the squad.
"It depends on the training [whether he is fit for Hull], so it’s not only [about] being part of the training. I think [he will be available] but we will see," said Klopp.
The former Dortmund boss arrived at Liverpool last season in the middle of an injury crisis, but now his Reds could have a clean bill of health.
“All of the other players trained all of the time but had little issues."
"Gini [Wijnaldum] got a knock on his knee, it was swollen but was not a risk.
"But he was not at 100 per cent for the Derby game. He was not in the squad but trained on the day.
“The same with Adam Lallana, who felt the intensity of the last games a little bit, so there was no reason to try anything with him.
"He was not in the squad, but trained."
Klopp also hinted that goalkeeper Loris Karius will keep his place in the side after making his debut against Derby.
The 23-year-old signing from Mainz was expected to be Liverpool's first choice goalkeeper before missing the start of the season with a broken hand.
"We could say there is an international break coming up so give Loris a home game and Swansea away and then both [Karius and Simon Mignolet] have had the chance to show what they are.
