MANCHESTER United boss Jose Mourinho has agreed a new four-year deal with winger Jese Lingard - and has DOUBLED his wages.
The England youngster has agreed a contract worth £50,000-a-week after three weeks of talks.
The 23-year-old had two-years remaining on his current contract and wanted to stay at Old Trafford after coming through their academy.
A United source said: "There has been talks between the club and Jese's representatives for a few weeks now.
"There has been no issues and the club lawyers are just in the process of completing all the paperwork."
Mourinho is believed to have given his approval for the new deal in the last two weeks.
Ex-England Under-21 international Lingard has been with United since he was eight and broke into their first-team in 2011.
He has had four loan spells away from Old Trafford at Leicester, Birmingham, Brighton and Derby.
Lingard has played 26 times for United and scored four goals over the past five seasons.
Meanwhile, Mourinho has also offered star striker Marcus Rashford a new contract to keep him at the club.
United want to double his wages to £50,000-a-week despite him only signing a deal in the summer.
If it is signed he will become the highest paid teenager in the world along with Bayern Munich's Renato Sanchez.
