LAST night marked a watershed moment in recent Spanish football history.
It was the first time Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema, Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar all started on the same night — and none of the six managed to get on the scoresheet.
The greatest attack line-ups were in world football were both on show as Real Madrid took on Villarreal and Barcelona hosted Atletico Madrid.
However, both matches finished in 1-1 draws — with none finding the back of the net.
It was the 29th matchday all six had been in action at the same time since Suarez’s arrival in La Liga in 2014.
