Moment fan runs on pitch and stops West Ham during dangerous attack against Lyon to leave David Moyes visibly fuming
A WEST HAM fan brought a promising attack from his OWN team to a grinding halt after running onto the pitch, enraging boss David Moyes.
The Hammers played out a 1-1 draw with Lyon at the London Stadium in the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final clash.
A first half red card for Aaron Cresswell and goals by Jarrod Bowen and Tanguy Ndombele have set up a nail-biting affair next week in France.
But as ten-men West Ham went in search of a winner late on, a fan brought the game to a halt by running on the pitch.
The idiot, who bizarrely seemed chuffed with himself, was met with a chorus of boos.
The players he would've undoubtedly been cheering on for the previous 85 minutes were in disbelief at the stupidity.

Moyes said: "I was baffled.

"But those things tonight didn't help, we were on a counter-attack with an opportunity to score."

Hammers fans were also left raging, venting their frustrations on social media.
West Ham fan Dan told : "We're on the attack, three-on-three, and we've got a massive opportunity of getting in the box and get a goal, potentially, and you've got some idiot running on the pitch.
"I'm just thinking, 'what on earth is going on?'
"You cannot have been a proper West Ham fan if you're running on the pitch when we're attacking. Who do you think you are?"
