FIFA 17: Nike unveil brilliant new football boots paying homage to EA SPORTS classic

FOOTBALL fans and gamers worldwide are eagerly awaiting the launch of FIFA 17.
The latest instalment of the EA classic hits shops on September 27, and Nike have kicked off the party by releasing a smashing new pair of boots to celebrate.
The limited edition Mercurial Superfly launch in conjunction with the game and pay tribute to FIFA’s progression from 1994 to the modern day.
Just 1,500 pairs have been created, with each boot receiving an individual number on the heel.
: “The medial side of the boot has a pixelated 16-bit graphic that transitions to high-definition on the lateral side.
“The EA SPORTS logo appears on the sockliner, lace and heel. A special Mercurial logo was designed just for this boot.”

Gamers will also be able to get their hands on the stunning shoes in the EA SPORTS Football Club Catalog – although they can only be unlocked at level 7.
Senior Design Director for Nike Football Nathan Van Hook added: “This collaboration came together rather organically.
“Our design team spends a lot of our free time playing football – both on the pitch and via video game – we’re pretty obsessed with both. We wanted to create something memorable that brings together the physical and virtual worlds.”
