John Terry targets return against Arsenal in bid to get Chelsea’s title tilt back on track after ankle injury
JOHN TERRY is set to face Arsenal on Saturday evening as he steps up his recovery from an ankle injury.
The Chelsea captain missed Friday night's defeat to Liverpool after picking up an ankle injury in the Blues' 2-2 draw with Swansea.
However, Antonio Conte will nor risk the 35-year-old against Leicester City in the EFL Cup this evening at the King Power Stadium.
Talk of a return to the England camp continue to swirl around the former Three Lions skipper, with Sam Allardyce still yet to settle on a regular set of defenders.
Chelsea play Leicester tonight and then again after the international break, before welcoming Jose Mourinho's Manchester United to Stamford Bridge.
Antonio Conte said: "We are disappointed about the defeat against Liverpool but during training I've seen the right intensity, the right commitment from the players. It's been a good response.
