Spurs news: Dele Alli signs new £55,000-a-week six-year deal keeping him at Tottenham till 2022

DELE ALLI has doubled his wages to nearly £55,000 a week after signing his second new deal of 2016.
Tottenham's England international midfielder Alli has penned six-year contract to remain at the club until 2022.

It comes just nine months after he signed a new deal in January to take his money from £12,000 to £22,000-a-week.
Alli, 20, initially signed a five-and-a-half-year contract when he joined from MK Dons for an initial £5m in February 2015.
He made his first appearance for Spurs on the opening day of last season, scored ten goals in 46 matches and signed an improved contract in January.
Alli made his England debut in October 2015, and scored on his full debut against France the following month.
And he said: "I can't think of anywhere better than Tottenham with the fans, the manager and the young team.
"It's a great place to be."
The Milton Keynes-born star will form the young base of the spine going forward with Harry Kane.
But he admitted he's already feeling old!
Alli added: "I don't feel young, I feel like I'm ready to retire!
"No, it's been good. I'm happy to be here and playing at Tottenham."
Eric Dier, a team-mate for club and country, signed a new five-year deal last week.
