BAYERN MUNICH star Alphonso Davies broke down in tears after Canada booked their place at the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
Canada qualified for their first World Cup in 36 years and confirmed their place in the tournament with a 4-0 win over Jamaica on Sunday.
But unfortunately for Davies, he wasn't with his team-mates to celebrate the historic occasion.
Davies has been out with a heart condition and hasn't played for club or country since December 17.
But he is back in training for the German champions.
The left-back tested positive for Covid-19 and Bayern’s manager Julian Nagelsmann confirmed that the Canadian international suffered mild inflammation of the heart.

It was discovered as Davies, 21, completed routine medical checks at the club’s HQ after recovering from the virus.
And those highlighted signs of mild myocarditis.
But as Davies discovered he and his team-mates will be heading to Qatar in December, the Bayern man burst into tears on his p.
Playing in a World Cup will be one to remember for Davies, who had a tough start to life.

He was born in a refugee camp in Ghana after his family fled the Second Liberian Civil War.
The winger spent the first five years of his life there before his family were resettled in Canada.
Davies is thankful his family decided to leave Liberia during the war instead of taking up arms and fighting.
He said: "The story my dad told is how it was during the war in Liberia. You knew there were only two opportunities: you either become part of the war or try to get out.
"I'm happy they chose to get out because my parents had no intention of carrying guns, shooting guns. That's not who they are.
"Everything in the refugee camp was a battle, it wasn't easy, but they were alive.
"I can just visualise the smile on their faces knowing we were going to have a better life once we got accepted in the resettlement program to go to Canada. They were so excited, it was an amazing relief."
