Leon Bailey: Manchester City and Manchester United join Chelsea in race to sign Jamaica wonderkid
The Manchester giants are scouting the Genk ace, 19, who was named the best young player in Belgium last season
MANCHESTER UNITED and Manchester City have joined the race to sign Jamaican wonderkid Leon Bailey.
Bailey, who plays for Genk in Belgium, has been scouted by both the Manchester teams. The 19-year-old has also been linked with Chelsea and Liverpool.
The in-demand Bailey netted twice for Genk in their 3-2 Europa League defeat at Rapid Vienna this week, and was named the best young player in Belgium last season.
Bailey could join the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Thibaut Courtois who came through the ranks at Genk to become stars in the Premier League.
He has yet to appear for Jamaica at full international level, but has starred for his country for the Under-23s.

Before joining Genk in 2015, Bailey had trained with Ajax and was close to joining the Dutch side.
The Ajax manager at the time, Frank de Boer, had said that Bailey "has no weaknesses" in his game.
De Boer said: "He's got it all. Like all the other players, he underwent a series of tests at the club.
"When it came to speed and agility he did better than several first team boys. He's so quick, it's not normal.
"He couples that with great technique, an exceptional combination. What are his weaknesses? I couldn't tell you."
