AC MILAN are in discussions with Chelsea about January loan move for Cesc Fabregas.
However SunSport can reveal the Milan takeover by a Chinese consortium has not gone through yet and may not happen until as late as December.
Milan President Silvio Berlusconi has agreed to sale of the Rossoneri to the Chinese this summer. A source revealed to SunSport transfer dealings have been "put on ice" for now until the sale of the club is completed.
The new owners are set to name former Inter and Juventus Chief Marco Fassone as new CEO and former Sunderland Director of football Massimo Mirabelli as Sporting Director.
It will be Mirabelli who will look to continue the dialogue with Chelsea about the capture of Fabregas in January with a £2.5million loan fee offered to the Londoners.
