ARSENAL have reportedly been linked with a shock move to bring Bayern Munich winger Serge Gnabry back to the Emirates.
The 26-year-old came through the Gunners' academy where he won the FA Cup in 2014, but left two years later due to a lack of game time.
But the Germany international has never shied away from his love for the club, as shown when he wore an Arsenal shirt during a Bayern conference call in 2020.
And he has been at it again this week by posting a picture of himself modelling a retro Arsenal shirt on .
During a 2019 interview with club fan Chunkz for Gnabry declared he is: "Always a Gunner."
Speaking of his exit, he added: "As I said, it was the hardest decision but, in the end, I think it worked out well. But, as a club, Arsenal are top.”
And with the player failing to agree terms on a new deal at the Allianz Arena with his contract set to expire in 2023, Arsenal have been linked with a move for the forward.
Sky Sport reporter has claimed that the ex-West Brom loanee has a 50 per cent chance of extending his stay with talks at a standstill.
