Their best-known development was that of London’s One Hyde Park.

The duo are now waiting to hear back from Abramovich.

Meanwhile Crystal Palace shareholder and American billionaire Josh Harris has also been linked with a move to buy the Champions League holders.

The reports Chelsea are hoping to sell to either a European-based or American billionaire.

It is understood that Abramovich has set an initial March 15 deadline for bids to buy the club he bought for £140million in 2003.
