THE next Old Firm derby will go ahead on New Year’s Eve despite last weekend’s controversial match.
Celtic gave fierce rivals Rangers a battering at Celtic Park as summer signing Moussa Dembele bagged a hat-trick in a 5-1 win.
Gers defender Philippe Senderos saw red for a comical handball, but the game was unfortunately marred by a number of incidents off the field.
Rangers fans caused chaos in the toilets, tearing down an entire block with their bare hands to leave the away restroom in tatters.
Meanwhile, some Celtic fans hanged sex dolls with Rangers scarves from nooses on the same day as World Suicide Prevention Day.
A large number of Hoops supporters condemned the actions, and Scotland will be hoping for a calmer affair on December 31.
